PetroPRO Portable Gas Chromatograph

NEW PetroPRO High Speed Portable Gas Chromatograph specifically designed for accurate, rapid screening of common VOCs on site. The PetroPRO can analyze benzene in less than 30 seconds and benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and m-xylene (BTEX) in two minutes down to parts per billion (PPB) levels.
High Speed Chromatography Made Simple
PetroPRO Portable Gas Chromatograph

High speed chromatography provides the answers you need fastThe PetroPRO gas chromatograph can analyze benzene in less than 60 seconds or benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and m-xylene (BTEX) in three minutes down to low parts per billion (PPB) levels. The PetroPRO utilizes photoionization, a field proven technology in five previous generations of Photovac portable GCs. The extremely linear photoionization detector reports sample concentrations from low PPB up to hundreds of parts per million (PPM). The PetroPRO is designed for high-speed analysis of BTEX, but can be modified for analysis of a wide range of VOCs. It incorporates proprietary valve technology to increase the resolution of GC peaks and speed of analysis.Bring the GC to the sample
A truly portable instrument, the PetroPRO weighs less than 15 lbs and is easy to carry with a shoulder strap. The PetroPRO has an internal carrier gas cylinder and battery pack so the instrument can be used in the field without support gas or external power source. All results are stored in the PetroPRO's memory for a permanent data archive of the day's results. Data can be later downloaded to a PC, therefore no laptop is required in the field.

Chromatography made simple.
Designed to be easy to use, the PetroPRO's built-in graphic display lists the names of detected compounds as well as the concentration in the sample, eliminating the need to interpret results in the field. A new dedicated calibration key provides quick access to starting a calibration and reminds the user of the importance of regular calibration. The PetroPRO also features a dedicated STARTkey for one-button sampling. The PetroPRO is factory-programmed, so the instrument is ready to use right out of the box. An intuitive user interface allows quick and easy changes in the field, if needed.

Applications.
The PetroPRO portable gas chromatograph provides fast answers on site, making itideal for a wide range of applications. These include product transfer, fenceline monitoring, piping and storage tanks, worker safety air monitoring, plant turnaround/ maintenance and emergency response. The PetroPRO is certified as Intrinsically Safe for use in hazardous locations.
