The 1911 Soil Water Sampler is designed for continuous soil solution collection from remote sites where minimum disturbance to the soil surface is desired. The Sampler can be installed at depths ranging from 6 inches to 10 feet, with the collection vessel situated in a site adjacent to the study plot.
The porous ceramic has high-flow characteristics, high alumina content for low adsorption, and moderate bubbling pressure (1 bar or 100 kPa). The Butyrate body terminates with a swagelok compression fitting for connection to tubing that is routed to a remote collection vessel. The sampler has two nylon fittings: one for 1/4" O.D. tubing and one for 1/8" O.D. tubing. The 1900K3 1000 ml Extraction Kit is recommended, and a continuous vacuum source is required for operation of the 1911 Sampler.
You’ll want to consider our model 1900K2 (50ml) or 1900K3 (1liter) extraction kits to address this need.
