A unit that can accurately measure ambient particles in the atmosphere is in high demand in today's monitoring industry. Kimoto's Spm-613 instrument is the answer to that demand.

Principles:
The analyzer collects suspended particles on its filter and measures the weight of those particles by the absorbance of a beta-ray. The absorption coefficient depends upon the source of the beta-ray only, not upon materials, or the materials size or color. So the particles weight is determined only by the absorbance of the beta-ray.

Features:
One Hour Measurement - We succeeded in development of the instrument which enables simultaneous and continuous measurement (every one hour) for suspended particles. It enabled to supervise the movement of the particulat concentrations in detail.

Easy Operation - It is easy to operate the instrument using the well engineered interface with the touch screen display. The user is able to set up only using this touch screen display with pushing the buttons indicated on the screen.

Fluorocarbon Filter - By adoption of the fluorocarbon membrane filter, the instrument is lesser subject to humidity than the glass-fiber filter. Hereby, the measurement accuracy improved spectacularly.

Internet - It is available to download the data using internet anywhere in the world, because of the instrument has an IP address for internet. (PC which has an Ethernet port is necessary.)

User interface - A large touch panel display makes interactive operation possible, This allows for ultra smooth instrument adjustments and maintenance.

Measuring - Using a fluorocarbon membrane filter, this keeps effects from humidity to minimum. The fluorocarbon membrane filter is two -three times more sensitive then the standard glass fiber tape filters.

Output Functions - A daily report (1-hour average - day average , day maximum, day minimum , and the number of samples) is printed from an optional recorder. By connecting an optional printer, operation information and the continuation value of a 1-minute value are also available. Sampling Period: Max 2 months with one Roll Filter.
